About EUROSMC

Established in the year, EUROSMC excels in the design, manufacture and distribution of a vast range of Electronic Equipments for Electrical Testing, particularly in Protection Relay Field and in general, test equipments related to the maintenance and commissioning in power plants and Substations. In the 1990’s, EUROSMC came out with the PTE (Portable Test Equipment) Relay Test Sets making use of the modern technology available at hand with strict adherence to modular design and portability. It bagged the prestigious awards proffered by the Madrid Chamber of Commerce for their export achievements in 1995 and 1999.

In the year 2000, EuroSMC unveiled its PME (Portable Measurement Equipment) range for substation maintenance and later on gained fame with the launch of various test & measurement equipments including PME-20-PH (Phase Angle Meter) and innovative Circuit Breaker Analyser model namely PME-500-TR. Model MENTOR 12 with its design, state-of-the-art software and cutting-edge technology proved to be one of the most innovative three-phase Relay Test Set available in the market as their R&D department continues to develop new innovative products in the power system field.

Test & Measurement Equipments of EUROSMC

EUROSMC offers a gamut of high AC primary current injectors for overcurrent testing in power plants, substations, protective relays, switchgear and circuit breakers. This range of test instruments including the LET-400, LET-400-RD, LET-400-RDC, LET-400-RDM, LET-1000-RD, LET-2000-RD, LET-2000-RDM, LET-2010-RD, LET-4000-RD and LET-4000-RDM is built specially for field use and is highly robust and rugged.

The Portable Test Equipment is built for testing protective relays from the simplest overcurrent to the most state-of-the art multi-functional digital protection. The PTE range including PTE-100-C, PTE-IO-LOGIC, PTE-50-CET, PTE-300-V, PTE-100-V, PTE-100-C Plus/Pro and PTE-50-CE / PTE-50-CE Pro comes with outstanding output power that offers the best compromise between ruggedness, portability and application flexibility. The various secondary injection models that constitute this range could be used interconnected or individually for all your relay test applications.

The PTE units offers powerful, intuitive, yet simple to learn on-board control for the purpose of manual testing, besides a connection to an external PC for you to carry out fully automated testing and reporting. The Mentor 12 comes with cutting-edge fault simulation technology and computer built-in with graphical touch screen for the simplification of the testing of the most complex numerical protection with greater efficiency and accuracy.

The UNO is a total single phase test system. You can also check out equipments for grounding circuits measurements including LET-60-VPC and LET-500-VPC built for testing grounding circuit measurements in transformer centers and Substations, what is otherwise called voltage contact in step and touch by IEC standards elsewhere.

Portable measurement equipments including the PME-500-TR, PME-20-PH, PTE-30-CH, PME-10, PME-100 and GOOSEMeter One (latest) are designed for commissioning and overall maintenance of substations. These test instruments are built to function under substation environment. These instruments can measure contact resistance, coils, frequency, phase angle and circuit breakers. Miniature circuit breaker test equipments including EMU-25, EMU-300, EMU-100 and SMC-12 termed as the EMU Range (Electronic Modular Units) are built for quality control, laboratory and production line testing. The ranges constitute AC current regulation instruction that is stable and accurate and is generally mounted in 19 - inches racks modules.

The Transformer & motor testing equipments and systems including ETP-1, ETP-2, ETP-3, ETP-4, ETP and EDA-III are built for the application of predictive transformer maintenance.
